My friend Tiffany asked if I would edit some newborn pictures for her. I said I would because I love editing photos. To my surprise she sent over 12 pictures! I thought she would send over 3 or 4. ha ha!
I edited each one, some taking a couple hours to edit. It was a big time investment to do them, but it was fun as well. I did this service for her asking nothing in return.
Two days after I finished all the photos for her, she showed up at my doorstep with two boxes full of maternity clothes she said I could borrow! It was something I appreciated so very much!
I had been tempted to ask her to pay me for editing so many photos, probably requesting $50... which could have bought maybe two articles of maternity clothes... and since I did it without expecting anything in return I received abundantly more than I ever could have asked for or expected.
The maternity clothes are so cute and will make this pregnancy so much more bearable. I am so grateful!
I can't help but think this was a direct blessing for being willing to first give.
It is a true principle, it will come back to you. And this time it came back very quickly and amazingly!!
